Nothing too normal feeling during the first few weeks but you really do need to be in this for the long haul. I liked that serenity prayer for quitters where it said to accept whatever comes. You just have to accept the craves, the anxiety, etc., and they will pass. It takes time.
My experience in quitting a number of times in the past has been that 3 weeks is a milestone, then something like 2-3 months is another one, then maybe 6 months is the last one. That's just me - you'll probably be different.
The first three weeks are pretty much a smorgasboard of blah, hell, heck, anger, dizziness, toothpain, etc. There is a dessert tray at the end of the smorgasboard. It has rice cakes with a sugar cube glued to the top. Get the picture? Accept that there aren't going to be a lot of great moments too early in the quit. That said, know that the great moments will come.
So, keep your head down, don't look back. Link up arms with the rest of us and keep on slogging down the path.
