On Saturday I bought a packet, had two and then had another one on Sunday. I felt guilt, bigtime, and yesterday (Monday morning) had the worst craving attack since quitting. Threw the packet away and have decided to continue my quit. I really don't want to smoke again. Just thought I'd share this with you. Aunt Deb and all, It tasted disgusting, but... I got very dizzy, but... It stank, but... I felt very guilty, but... Everyone knows what the 'but' is. One day at a time, and only one life! Thanks everyone. Simon I think you need to tell the members how that slip was. What did that first drag taste like? How dizzy did you get? ...and that guilt feeling when you lit up...did it feel like when you were a kid doing something your parents disapproved of because it would make you sick? This helps reinforce the the Mantra..."Not One Puff Ever"! This is an Addiction of an abusive substance and shows just how easy it would be to become addicted again...if YOU CHOOSE TO Have a nice day everyone! auntdeb ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 64 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,221 Amount Saved: $304 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 20 Mins: 44 Seconds: 12

We can never be far enough out for Ol Nic to get the hint. He is the best salesman. He will make the ASK unabashedly, expecting you to say yes. Just remember - it's only an ASK and next time - you're ready response should be NO. Don't even think about it. Make yourself a flashcard. Sometimes I think about it too. But we'll push through this point, just as we've pushed through previous points of success. Just for the record. I didn't need to know the details. This site is for what you want to offer. One would hope for honesty but not for intrusiveness. Good luck to you. Keep us posted. Simon, we all have this downfall - we're human. It has happened to me many times, but as the old syaing goes.. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and quit all over again! You just need more tools in your toolbox of how to deal with it. Keep on trying!
