Hi Linda :)
Congratulations on getting through 29 Smoke-Free days! That's quite an accomplishment right there. Keep up the good work!
I understand what you are saying about winning the debate within your self. It's not an easy thing to do, and there is anxiety that goes along with it because there's that worry that you always have to win the argument. Perhaps you might want to try what I've been doing.
This quit I don't even let myself think there might be an option, but rather just repeat the saying, "N.O.P.E. -- Not one puff ever." I just cut myself off in a rude manner just as soon as I think "cigarette," and the thought passes. Any other line might work as well, but I just happened to latch on to this one.
I'm glad you are posting again. This is such a good place to be when you need support or are up to giving some. I hope you stay and pass along some hints about the things that have helped you get this far along. I know that I need all the good advice I can get!
