This last week,, hey who I am kidding, these last several weeks have been some of the hardest of my life. BUT, with all of the support I've received here, including a multitude of advice - both gentle and straight from the cuff I am coming along, slowly and with much patience within myself. Tonight hubby and I had a most wonderful evening! We rarely can go out to a restaurant and tonight we had a lovely dinner for New Years Eve :) As well it was just the kind of pampering that I need right now. We picked up some prepared foods from a nearby grocery store so I don't have to cook for another 2 nights! Hubby and I talked about my 60 day quit and said "this will be the last mention of your slip a week ago, coz honey you are doing a splendid job.. so put it in the past once and for all and we'll move forward together!" AWWWWWwwwwwwwwww.. he was and is so encouraging.. after 27 yrs of marriage he's STILL the ONE *kiss* Anyway.. Tonight was the best reward I've had thus far in my quit and it all went so smoothly! Thanks everyone.. you are all one of a kind and I love you for all that you've given me. Awwwwwwwwww... you guys are terrific ! Loved all of your posts and yes, hubby is one hell of a guy :) Things are really turning around, slowly, but surely and last night certainly added some icing on the cake for me.. literally I almost ate a whole carrot cake for dessert ! LMBO.. as I've said in the past, protect the quit at all costs and worry about the extended waistline/buttline some other time ! Best reward yet !
