I'm right with Jan, the Voice of Experience, on this one, CD. With a quit date so far in the future, with all due respect, you'd be a fool not to take advantage of all the new technologies. No reason to make this quit worse than it needs to be.
If you do the drugs, make sure they're in your system 2 weeks before the quit date. If you do NRT, make sure you have everything in place before the big day.
Most important of all, though, work the program!! You have all the time in the world to do a thorough job on your workbook, to develop your own tools and mechanisms, and to get yourself ready. Use that time wisely, my friend, and it will pay off in spades when the time comes.
Wor, work, work now so you can reap, reap, reap when you need to.
