And you know what? It wasn't bad at all. My soon to be in-laws (my daughter-their son) are smokers and I've dodged the invites over the last 3 months. Finally accepted an invitation for last night. There were six people smoking inside (about 14 people total were there).
I noticed the smoke, but I didn't want it. It didn't smell yucky, it didn't smell good either.
Weird.
I noticed my throat is sore this a.m. though. (Second hand smoke DOES have its drawbacks after all..though you couldn't have told me that three months ago. )
Not suggesting that any new quitters expose themselves if they don't have to, (to second hand smoke that is) LOL.
I just wanted to relate that I'm releived that it was much less of a stressor than I thought it would be.
N.O.P.E.
