I'm SO glad to see this discussion. I kept reading everywhere that I was supposed to be jittery and not sleeping well... Everyone I've talked to said they were awake and anxious... I was the first couple of days but then the EXTREME fatigue set in and I slept every moment I could for 5 days. And I don't mean ssllleeeppp... I mean pass out cold as if I were on drugs or something. Wake up 3 hours later in the same position... This only after being awake 4 hours... I was napping 3 or 4 times a day... for at least an hour. It was starting to depress me then yesterday it started getting a little better.... Today I'm almost myself again. Anyway, I'm SO glad there are people with the same experience and I know I'm not losing my mind. :) Ok... so did that YEARS ago... but you know what I mean. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 11 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 171 Amount Saved: $41.25 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 2 Mins: 35 Seconds: 1

I hope I can sleep this weekend when I am not busy. I was already up at 6:30 and been craving since. Naps everyday though would get in the way of work. I don't remember me napping last time I quit. Exhausted right along with you. Felt that way when I first popped on a patch, then 'came to' as it were, and it happened again when I stepped down. Just starting to feel a bit perky again! I can't sleep during the day.. but I do need to lay down, close my eyes for a good hour! I usually do this around noonish and when I get up I feel so much better :) If you need to put off other things - just do it and get your rest. Your body is healing.. I'm raising my hand really high for this one. I have been napping daily since I quit. In fact, we have spent a good portion of the day out shopping and now...I'm tired. I'm going for a nap. Yes, I've got housework to do, but it'll wait. And hubby will help(I hope). Right now(Yawn), I can hardly keep my eyes open. Going for a nap and staying smoke free, Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 7 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 228 Amount Saved: $63 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 20 Mins: 33 Seconds: 56
