Oh he doesn't know.. trust me. we work off shifts from eachother and do not see eachother all week! Its easy to hide my smoking from him. I used body spray and kept it hidden pretty well! He is never in my car so that was easy. Thanks for being there everyone! This quit seems my head isn't in it like the others were. Its like the surgery is forcing the timing. But hey, day 3 is over :) I yelled a lot today LOL, I have a teen and boy she can make me nutts with her forgetfulness LOL My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 4 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 121 Amount Saved: $22.2 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 8 Mins: 46 Seconds: 5

Well I am back yet again. I made it 2 months and started up again. Now I am 2 days quit again. This has been going on for 1 1/2 years, quit smoke, quit smoke. ARG! Well I have to have a day surgery and the DR has to put me out. I had to admit I was smoking and he asked me to stop for the surgery. Umm ya smart idea! Gosh if my hubby is in the room that day when they drill me with questions, he is gonna be in for a suprise when I say I quit 2 weeks ago and not Aug 2005 like he thinks. He never talks about my quit, when a year came by to what he thought my date was, he didnt notice. If I mention I want one, he says have one then, thinking I could could stop at one. He is no smoker LOL! Well I was a closet smoker on and off for all this time. No one saw me smoke. Now I am a closet quitter to. I sure hope I don't fold! I am so tired of this habbit! All my sibs smoke, drink, some do drugs! I don't do anything but smoke and I feel like crap about it! Its sooo nasty! lashes, I too was a closet smoker/quitter. I understand how you can have a non-smoking spouce and they not know you smoke. I played that same game with my ex husband and he didn't know. I thought it was harder to quit because people who knew me didn't know I smoked so I couldn't share with them what I was going through. The people on this site were able to give me the support I needed to get through the quit. Lean on those here, they will help you through. It's tough when you go it alone. Personally, I don't think I would have survived had it not been for my fellow quitters. You can do this! The greatest part of quitting was the fact that I didn't have to hide anymore! lashes, if your husband is that clueless about your smoking, he's probably not going to even notice when you say how long you've been quit. But it doesn't matter does it? This quit is about you, not about him. Own it, make it yours, and be proud!
