Maria,
Please tell your husband, sorry for the loss of his friend.
This is one of the reasons I am quitting. This cancer thing just scares the you know what out of me.
I have been a smoker for far too long and now is the time.
Thanks for your post and I hope a lot of people will think about not restarting.

Thanks everyone, I am doing good, I have been under a lot of stress lately and have been dealing with it without the crutch. Smoking just isn't an option for me anymore, I just don't ever want to go through quitting again ,ever.
I hardly ever think about it and if a thought enters my mind I will it away as soon as it reaches the conscious. I am free of the slavery of this horrible addiction and I am thankful for my new life. I walk a lot, I exercise at the gym 3 times a week and I am in great shape except for 15 pounds (hihihi) but I look at it as good fat, free of smoke hihihi more of me to love. I will never let my guard down, I am still crossing the days on the calender every day and I still do it one day at a time.
Hugs
Marie
