Well, looks like great advice and stick with the Zyban first. I struggle also with depression but I made the mistake of not seeing it until I was 4 months into my quit. I also know when I miss a pill (well I missed 5 cause I was snowed in and fractured ankle) and it almost ruined my quit. Hang in there!! Hi Jan Right girl - I want you to stop, put your arms right around yourself and give yourself a big hug. Jan you are doing your best and if you need a little extra time then allow yourself that - dump the guilt - it's not doing you any good. I've followed your posts on the SSC and I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever of your good intentions to quit. So cut yourself the slack you need. If you continue to beat yourself up you are more likely to feel down and depressed and you'll perhaps find the quit more of a challenge than it needs to be. I believe in you Jan - 110%. If there is one word I want to share with you it's 'GENTLENESS'. Practice it on yourself, be your own best friend and lean on us for support. Whatever it takes. All the very best to you Sharon My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/14/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 81 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 813 Amount Saved: 217.89 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 20 Mins: 16 Seconds: 24
