I have chosen a stop date of 1/2/07. Not the first because I have never kept a New Year's Resolution in my life. My doctor gave me a new medication called Champix or something like that. I have been smoking about 5 or 6 cigarettes a day. For the last week I have been sick to my stomach. I am wondering if it is due to me smoking even a little on this medication. I will check with my doctor on the 4th when I go in. This medication seems to work though. What I do now is only in my mind I think. ;)

Cottonwoodred,
Congratulations on setting your new date! It's now time to start planning so rework the online quit program.
Many members have found Chantix very helpful. If you're experiencing side effects, consult your doctor. Sometimes an adjustment can be made to help minimize these symptoms.
We hope to hear from you again soon.
Danielle
