Dreams are great aint they. I watched the whole of the series 24 over the last 3 weeks and all I dream about is me and Jack Bauer(Keifer Sutherland) fighting terrorsits. He does`nt smoke either so that helps. Phil, Unfortunately, old nick can't get to you in reality anymore so he's decided to cross over into dreamland. Not to worry, these dreams are common and pass with time. Take it as a good sign, your subconcious is aware you've quit for good. Danielle _______________________ The SSC Support Team

Why is it, that when I read this, I get jealous, and then really disappointed when I find out it's a dream. It was like I could smell it. I am happy it was a dream though. I wouldn't want it to be real for you. Keep your quit. Just wean from the gum like you do from the patches....and yes, chewing a piece is LOTS better than caving and smoking....but you can go without it too.....it's just a another hump to get over....it's the last one! it's worth it!!! hang tough Katy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/4/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 1785 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 71,415 Amount Saved: $10174.5 Life Gained: Days: 232 Hrs: 21 Mins: 3 Seconds: 42

Phil...I just read where you are still using the gum??? just now and them I am assuming?? imho you should really get off that stuff....chewing a piece now and then is giving yourself a hit of nicotine now and then?? I think that will keep your addiction alive and looking for more?? I am not being critical, cause I think we should do whatever is necessary to not smoke...but give a whirl to saying no to that gum also?? ;) tell that addiction NO Katy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/4/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 1785 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 71,413 Amount Saved: $10174.5 Life Gained: Days: 232 Hrs: 20 Mins: 56 Seconds: 55

my final dream was after some real doozers and it was when I was offered a cig and said "no thanks, I quit".....I never had another dream about smoking. I think our brains have to catch up. all that learned behavior is stored in there....has to work it's way out maybe?? who knows....just remember they are just dreams! katy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/4/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 1785 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 71,413 Amount Saved: $10174.5 Life Gained: Days: 232 Hrs: 20 Mins: 55 Seconds: 39
