NOPE braclets

18 years ago 0 79 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I have seen a few people talking about getting their NOPE braclets. Is there a certain time frame that you wait to get these or is it up to the individual? Thanks! I was the first person that I know of to get a N.O.P.E. bracelet, as it was suggested to me by a member here, Cheryl, and if I'd thought of it sooner, I would have loved to get it sooner. I got mine as a 2 month anniversary present to myself, but you can, of course, get them at any time. I really love mine, but it's getting pretty scuffed up and when I can afford to, I will buy myself a new one. I recommend doing it on a significant milestone like a week or a month so that it can remind you of that special day. I got mine at Things Remembered and had N.O.P.E. engraved in it for about $20. I have also made hemp N.O.P.E. bracelets for other people... total, the materials cost about $5 or so. I also made a hemp N.O.P.E. necklace for my 1 year anny that I wear on special occasions... but my bracelet NEVER comes off of my wrist. I have read here about others getting the rubber kind and ordered them special from the Internet. The person I'm thinking of I think paid $1 per bracelet, but she had to order a minimum of 12. Whatever works best for you. I highly recommend getting one... I love mine! Crave the Quit! jb, I think it is a personal choice and perhaps a reward as butterfly mentioned. This is a great way to validate your quit and a great conversation piece :) Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
