Hello,
I am now into my 2nd day of being a non-smoker. I am using patches, which I apply before I go to bed (the morning cigarette was always the most important to me). This meant that yesterday I did ok with ignoring the cravings until about 4pm. Yesterday evening then became very uncomfortable. I kept snacking to take my mind off it, and without a cigarette after my tea last night, which always signified the end of a meal, my body insisted I keep eating all evening. Now I am not a greedy person, and I don't generally struggle with my weight, but I do struggle with mind over matter!
Please advise how I can stop this snacking from spiralling out of control, and, to those of you who have used patches, please can you shed any light on whether applying the patches in the morning will still keep me covered sufficiently for the following morning.
Thanks in advance for any support that you can offer me.
