Thank goodness I never smoked in my house.
I know what you mean though. I never noticed smokers and how they smelled at work.
How..... yucky!! Espeically when the smoke is stale.
Even though I smoked I was always fussy about the smell. I had more ways of trying to cover up the stink. Nothing really works either. I was always brushing my teeth and washing my hands after every cigarette. I could not stand my hands stinking.
Great post to remind us it is so much nicer to smell good.

I am NOT all that thrilled with my newborn sense of smell! My dog smells a lot more often than I ever knew! And the kitty litter box is awful. I'm mostly kidding. I do love how my hair smells. In the past in the morning I would be laying with it in my face and the smell was awful! Now it smells great. Now if only I could get Emma to give herself a bath I'd be really happy!

Amazing isn't it? I notice some of the most pleasant smells and some of the worst as well. I love my fabric softner, bacon frying and coffee brewing. Yummy!

As soon as I quit I bought two purair air ionizers. It has really made a difference. Now with nobody smoking, I still leave one running constantly in our living room on low and the other I leave in our pool house. That is where any company that smokes goes. It is actually a small apartment we had built for our oldest and it passed down through the children....now it sits vacant and is the ideal smoking area as I no longer go there except to change before swimming in summer. The air ionizer takes all of that smell away...

Redytoquit,
Aren't you glad you don't smell like that anymore! Two great discoveries: you're getting your sense of smell back and you've found a new distraction!
