Just had to share the advice that my brother told my husband today in an e-mail :) It came at a perfect time. Yesterday I fit the describition in the email 0 to _itch in 2 seconds. It was a very hard night. I have tried to cut down on the dosage of Chantix because of all the side effects. It was also a day when my husband was tired of walkiing on egg shells around me. Needless to say he was upset and I was crying. The email from my brother came at a perfect time. It reminded my husband that he still needed to be understanding of what I was going through. It also gave him a laugh. Even though it was a rough night, I am glad it happened. It let me know that no matter how stressful a situation was I am determined not to smoke. My quitting has become so important to me. I am willing to fight for it. Hope everyone else is having a better day. After reading the post, I think a lot of us had a trying day. I will be out of town for a few days. I will miss reading and posting. Thanks to everyone for being there. JT, I'm giggling here, but your brother's email just tickles my funny bone!!! My hubby could use a copy of that one for next week (even though our kids are grown). This is a serious time for you, but how wonderful you can see humor in things already. Keep on fighting the fight, you are doing so well. My suggestion: Let's leave the kids with spouses and/or foster care and the whole lot of us meet in Bora Bora for a long overdue vacation! :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 140 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,046 Amount Saved: $1120 Life Gained: Days: 14 Hrs: 22 Mins: 11 Seconds: 58

JT, How was your day today? Start fresh everyday and see the difference. Use relaxation techniques and take the 1/2 for you time and ease into sleep. We are all entitled to our bad days and if the hubby's want to run and take the kids with them, who are we to stop them. It gives you more relax time! As long as they are home for supper!
