Hello everyone,
I just celebrated my 2 years as a non-smoker and I'd like to take a little time and space to thank this site.
Thank you to the moderators and all the members, past members mostly since I haven't been on the site for a while. Thank you for your encouragement and your good words when we need it most. Thank you for being non-judgemental but always understanding. Thank you to the people who thought of putting such a tool on the Internet.
To all the newbies out there, if you believe in yourself and are really serious about quitting, this place will really give you what you need to reach your goal to be a non-smoker. Don't even hesitate: come here, read, read, read and post. Don't think that any comment or question is silly, you're the one suffering with it while it's in your head. Once you put it in words and see the responses, you'll be happy you did.
This place really did it for me. I had tried several times to quit in the past 10 years and just couldn't do it. Then I discovered this place and I did not touch a cigarette for over 2 years now. To me that is such an awesome accomplishment. I'm still amazed at it. I've had bad times in these 2 years and when I think back I realise that I never even had the thought of lighting up during those bad times.
There are no words to express my gratitude to The Stop Smoking Center.
