1 Month Quit!!

17 years ago 0 249 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Well, I am posting this now, as I am actually able to get out of bed for a few minutes. I have almost 1 month Smoke-Free. I love it. It feels so great to not have that dirty ashtray by my bed, to not have to roll smokes each morning or in the evening before bed, to no longer waste my money on cancer sticks. And so many other great things. To smell better, to feel better, to heal faster (that's a big one right now). For the first time since I started smoking, after 6 hours in the hospital yesterday my last thought was when could I have a smoke. Instead, I worried about feeling better and listening to the doctor. And did it ever feel good to have the doctor and nurses proud, proud of my quit. And I owe it all to you guys and me. Me for quitting, and you for helping me, no questions asked, whenever I needed it. So, at almost 1 month smoke free........Thanks Everyone. And to the February quitters.....keep going strong. We can all earn our own great stats, become longtimers ourselves, and then we can be there for all the newbies who need to see that it can be done! My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/15/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 28 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 718 Amount Saved: $231 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 1 Mins: 4 Seconds: 2
