HOCKEY - I am treating myself to meeting a bunch of hockey players. :) I love hockey and this year we get to go and rub elbows with some players. We have season passes. I know - crazy AZ girl -what does she know about hockey - hey - I have Wayne. :) My life is smoke free and I have Wayne. (SHHHH- don't tell stinky - he is out back again - he really needs to quit. - I am talking hockey again.) The hubby and I get to meet real NHL hockey player for my one year quit. That is a real treat. -
I also got to run on the treadmill for an extra minute tonight. lol That is a treat all in it's self. Thanks for the congratulations. Life is too short to not be able to breath well and take it all in. Keep with your quit and enjoy.
I have to say that my husband - I only tease about the stinky part - was my best friend in all of this. I told him - no matter how bad I beg - don't give me one. He NEVER gave in to me. He kept strong for me and my quit in that first month. That is the hardest - keep laughing and keep a friend that will support you in that dark and hard hour. To my hubby - I owe him all my gratitude - I couldn't hit this year with out him, and with out ALL of you that offered encouragement here in this support center. You each posted things I would read and nod in agreement, and take away courage to face another day of my quit. THANKS forever!
