it has been 13 months, since I took the plunge. Can not say that it has been easy, but it is worth all the trouble I went through.
I still get cravings, I will be watching TV or doing something, and this little message will say, time to go and get a cigarette. It is strange that after all this time it is so clear. I ignore it, and it goes away in a couple of seconds.
My rewards are vacations, and my next one is planned for April to St. Martin. That will be at the 15 month anniversary date. Since smoking and flying do not go well together. I was a real motivator at the beginning. Now the real motivator is my health.
I thank all the people who supported me during this period, your suggestions and comments were a great help in getting past the bad periods. I have recommended this site to other people who say they want to quit smoking.
Will leave for now, and will check in again in a couple of months.
Thanks again. AUBANKI
