Penguin Keep going. The dry stretches will pass and that winged victory thing will move into place. You will do this moving through each piece, one piece at a time. AND Good for you for persevering and sticking it through and getting on with being quit. Life will bring everything from numbness to pain and sadness to blissful joy, keeping quit and finding a life of freedom will happen as all of that life and living goes on. Thanks for choosing life!:-) Freedom will come. Hello again Easy with the workout right away, not saying don't do it and I am saying be easy with it. I started swimming before I quit (2 weeks) the entrance requirement for joining the club was to be able to swim 2 lengths of the pool. The team did not say how long or what strock. I breast stoked from one end to the other and back again and did it in my own time which was really really slow. I thought I would never be able to catch my breath and the chlorine didn't help.... So be easy. Do different, check out with the doc and know that you are going to be using some muscles that ain't been used in a long long time. I am grinning as I write this and I really think that learning to breath again was one of my biggest challenges. I am still learning. As to sleep. My sleep was disturbed to an extent. I just could not get comfortable in bed. Now mind you I had not had that just before hopping into bed smoke out on the deck in 30 below weather... so. Make sure you are tired before bed. Lots of beverages have caffeine in them that we think they do not and see if you can cut down stimulants/ sugars before bed. I cut coffee and I couldn't hack it cause I drink lots of coffee every day and I was feeling like I was depriving myself. so... no chocolate either :-( Go forth learning to breath and all new and fresh ... Celebrate what you are doing for yourself.
