Withdrawal symptoms from Celexa

22 years ago 0 50 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi I've been on Celexa for about 4 years and have decided with the help of my doctor to stop taking it. My primary reason for taking it was to stop me having panic attacks while driving but as I was still suffering, but in different ways, and as I seemed tobe more agitated and agoraphobic while on it, decided to reduce the dose. My doctor has prescribed Buspar to help me deal with all the issues and I have found them to be great and wish I had had them 4 years ago. However I have been reducing the Celexa since May on a very gradual basis and am now down to about 2.5g per day. Well, for the last couple of days I have felt absolutely terrible. The back of my head seems to feel jittery and my brain doesn't seem to move with the rest of my head. My eyes seem to get the shakes when I move them and I wondered if anyone else has ever had these symptoms.
