--- quick vote --- HOW MANY CANCER STICKS DID YOU SMOKE A DAY??

I always SAID I was a "pack a day" smoker, but in my heart of hearts, I know better. I smoked AT LEAST 25 cigarettes (1.25 packs) per day. But in all honesty, towards the end, I was going out every day or every other day and when I went out, I was smoking AT LEAST 2 packs a day. BUT, the Camel girls were everywhere I went and I would get 2 packs for free everytime I went to the bars, so really, towards the end, I wasn't paying much for cigs... but I was still smoking a hell of a lot! At least now, I don't have to worry about any of that. I don't have to calculate how my going out to the bars is actually saving me money because I'm getting free cigarettes. Now, I can think about it in terms of I'm saving LOTS of money by not going out everyday AND by not smoking a lot! AND, I'm saving my life... and you just can't put a price on that! Crave the Quit! 20-30 a day. Depended on what I was doing. But could never leave home without a pack. Lit up the minute I got in the car. Now my car smells sooooooo good. I was a solid 25 or more a day for close to 20 years. Since I got married in 2001 I went down to 12-15 per day because my wife is a non-smoker, and also because new laws did not allow you to smoke in public bldgs. For the last 2+ years almost every cig I had was outdoors, but I could never get below the 12 per day mark.
