These three things ARE NOT a good combination let me tell you.. Just had a HUGE fight with my hubby, told him right where to go.. and cancelled our plans for tomorrow.. Nice eh... god, I am just trying to stay away from everyone today.. and am willing myself not to go to the store for smokes.. thank god I do not have any here or it would be really tempting... hopefully tomorrow is a better day... Bowmanville, Your doing fine...when all the dust settles and you look back at the arguments, temper tantrums, naughty words, and children that need psychological help...wait...oh that's my family....LOL, anyways...in a few weeks, take them all out to dinner and thank them for sticking by you during your "dark" moments. Whenever I'm having a good moment, I make sure I thank my husband and the kid's for being patient with me during the bad moments. I also explain to them, that it takes awhile and their patience will be appreciated for any future events....LOL Hang in there, your doing fine!!! Tomorrow is always a better day. I don't know what plans you had to cancel, but it is probably for the better. I can't seem to get anything going today, the christmas burnout is over, it is time to have a collective sigh of relief and just relax a bit. Good job on your resolve, it looks good on you. Just a note to say remember when you were smoking all you wanted was to quit? Well now YOU HAVE! Hold on to that with all your might! You don't want to go back to wanting to quit when you've already done it! Keep on putting one foot in front of the other. Time really does go by. And the craves go away even when you don't smoke. Honest! Hey Bowmanville - You got hit with all three at the same time and you are still kickin - Good for you! I know that alot of quitters have stuggled with the fact that they are so much more cranky during their quit. Although I didn't prepare myself very well, I prepared my hubby by being cranky on a regular basis for several years. Fraid we have all been there/done that - Unfortunately, this may not be the last time that you are just a tad cranky....apologize and move on....You are doing so well...You should perhaps inform your friends and relatives that we quitters reserve the right to be cranky for AT LEAST three weeks and periodically thereafter! Hi Bowmanville ~ Well, the bright side is one of these is a holiday and that you have no control over. They just happen, whether we are ready or not. Also, being a woman - there's not too much you can do about the PMS -except visit the drugstore for some pain relief. Now the BEST part - The not smoking thing seems like a bad idea today, but TRUST me on this, you will very glad you CHOSE LIFE! *hit happens and it will happen if you smoke or not, so best to keep up your great quit and don't smoke. Everything will look a little different tomorrow. Most likely, fabulous! Hang in there and cheer up! Keep your husband guessing and smile at him a lot!
