Keep up the great work. You do deserve a nice reward.

Thanks for the support, guys. I don't feel near normal yet, but I think I'm beginning to get used to the fact that I don't smoke. Mornings were the worst. I actually got up this morning and never once thought of smoking.
I think sometimes the changes are so subtle we don't even notice them until one day you say, "hey, I actually had a good day."
Just hang in there guys, degree by degree, it does get better.
Cheers, Jan
p.s. - here's a good coping tool! American Idol(on tonight from 8 to 10) Don't even think about smoking then.

Just wanted to answer my own post because...this post makes 1000 that I have posted here at SSC. Wish it was 1000 days smoke free! It will be one day.

Much as I hate to admit it, for the past few days I could have cheerfully clobbered anyone who got in my path!
I feel a little more even today, a little more relaxed, and definitely beginning to see the light!!!!
Not to mention a few more dollars in my pocket and a happy dance workin' it way to my legs!
One day at a time. For today I am happy.
Cheers, Jan

Holy Cow! Look at all that money that you have saved! Glad you are feeling better. What do you think is changing? It sure would help me to know how to handle the poo poo days.

Glad your feeling happy Jan.
Great attitude.
We've come through the worst of it, and we know this can be done.
