Tojo, congrats on the 10 month quit!! And I was in the same situation and i also had to leave. For some reason if I even walk past a smoker who is smoking, I get a massive headache for some reason. My husband has to go far away to smoke because I'm no good once that headache is around. I'm glad I live in a non smoking state but honestly, all the smokers congregate outside the doors and one must pass them to get into the store/restaurant. Hugs to you Kim My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 175 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,384 Amount Saved: $708.75 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 10 Mins: 58 Seconds: 43

I made the 10 month mark and am soooo proud of that quest. I was at a meeting last night where there were many smokers and I really couldn't breathe, I actually had to go outdoors and get some fresh air, my eyes were burning and this morning I have a horrible headache. Now I know how the non smokers felt and why they griped. It is my gift to my grandchildren to be with them smokefree and enjoy every moment with them. This is the best reward I can give myself.

I do the same thing,..so I leave. Since I quit I can't stand to be around it and I start to have problems breathing and as soon as I leave the area I'm fine. Tojo, WOW! 10 months and still going strong. Temptation stared you right in front of your face and you did not have one junkie thought! You have done it! You are an ex-smoker :). Congratulations! Melanie and The SSC Support Team
