clean car

I wish my town had one of those inside and out places. I think that's pretty cool that you did that for yourself. Have always dreamed of that nice fresh look and smell in my car. Especially since my job keeps me in the car most of the day. You have inspired me to go work on my a little bit. :)

:)Well I rewared myself yesterday for not smoking and went to the full inside and out carwash. My car smells so nice and clean. I had the whole inside done. I thought I was worth it. Now my husband can't smoke in my car. :eg: I sure wish I could get him to quit. I don't think that will every happen and he really needs to because he is a diabetic. jnine My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/14/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 13 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 269 Amount Saved: $35.75 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 18 Mins: 21 Seconds: 38

Phil, When you love someone nothing else matters. Ya I can smell him but I wouldn't give him up for anything. There is always more good than bad. I just keep hopeing he will quit in his own time. Jnine :)

Jnine: So what is it, do you think, that makes it so impossible -- over 35 years in my case -- to not even REALIZE how badly we stunk??!! I've worked in outside sales for years and would eat a breath mint before going in to see a client. HA! Like a breath mint is going to make a difference. Wow! Was I ever kidding myself. I'm utterly embarrassed when I think about it now. Yes, I'm with you -- no more, not ever again! Jnine: You go, girl! You are doing GREAT! My husband knows better than to try to smoke in my car -- but I don't even want his stinky smoker self IN my car. (Pretty bad, huh? But, boy, I really notice how bad he smells now.) Keep it going, Jnine. You are awesome. jnine....wanted to share something with you....about your wishing your hubby would quit? Whatever you do, don't rag him about it. Instead be a shining example of what a successful quit looks like! You can talk all you want about it....as long as you make it about YOU...you talk about your quitting, never his smoking. You must never accuse or even suggest that he quit. Smokers know they should quit...after all didn't you? When I quit our entire immediate family were smokers or smokless users....all of us had been smoking for years and were heavily into nicotine addiction. I had a tough time with hubby still puffing away while I went to battle with the monster. BUT....when they all realized I was serious...when it bacame obvious that I was winning the war....well, the attitudes began to change....I realized they were "watching" me. This went on for several months and in the end ALL of them gave up nicotine....and they all did it successfully...no slipping or sliding....good clean quits for all of them. SOOOO.....be sure that you register pride in yourself and this huge accomplishment...reward yourself regularly....go for some pampering and special events. Make it clear to your hubby how GLAD you are to be in control of your own actions. The next quit you see just may be his...........so hang tough Katy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/4/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 1849 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 73,988 Amount Saved: $10539.3 Life Gained: Days: 243 Hrs: 22 Mins: 35 Seconds: 32
