Hey Crab..I'm with you there..my nickname now is "The Cop"!
Sometimes I feel like I've joined the goody-two-shoes side, and the James Dean in me wants to put on a black leather jacket, grease back my hair, and hang on a street corner with a cig hanging out of my mouth. (And I'm a grandmother!)
We're not too far apart in our quit dates, so we're going through that private war in our heads...trying not to think about the thing that we crave and when we catch ourselves thinking about it we jump up and do whatever will distract us, whether yelling, cleaning, or just screaming inside.
I've found that clipping the leash on the dog and going for a good 20-30 minute walk turns me right around. I come back rosy cheeked, and a little happier.
Find something that feels good for you, and do it.
I've been told the crabbys will pass.
This site helps so much. It's like having a guru to help us along the path.
Keep up the good work! Find something for your inner self that brings you joy, and use it when you're feeling low.
