Well Jan - I know exactly what you mean. This week I was at breakaway with coworkers and we were talking about fighting with our spouses before family events. Two of us go to the events and pretend absolutely nothing is wrong and the other two don't. I'm afraid I was one of the fakers (Funny how I'm so willing to share my misery with hubby but don't seem to spread it across to others) Anyway........bet you look great with those nice pearly white teeth. Surely your husband will forgive you when he sees that beautiful smile. Funny how the emotional rollercoaster of the quit works. Last night I was agitated, frustrated, etc., and tonight, I felt good. Made a nice big salad and cooked Italian for supper tonight. Lunches are already made for tomorrow, so I'm ahead of the game. And some nights, I don't want to do any more than soup and a sandwich! Getting easier bit by bit. Have a good evening, Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 33 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,013 Amount Saved: $297 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 19 Mins: 7 Seconds: 53

:) - this was me this morning very happy and sweet when I went for my dental checkup and teeth cleaning. The dentist and hygenist were both talking to me, and so in passing and in my proudest voice I'm sure, I proclaimed, "I stopped smoking over a month ago". I received congratulations, and trying not to look over eager with pride, nodded with my biggest, sweetest smile(with my newly cleaned teeth, of course) and said thank you. They asked if it was difficult and I said, "I have my moments, nothing really". HMPPPPF!!!! YEAH RIGHT, - BECAUSE... this was me the night before -  - Hubby finally cleared the room when the horns started sprouting from my head!!!! I was thinking of this when I was smiling so sweetly this morning. I did wish hubby a Happy Valentine's day, though. Does that make up for the sprouting horns? Have a great day everyone, Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 33 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,004 Amount Saved: $297 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 18 Mins: 16 Seconds: 40
