Hey Duckie as odd as it sounds I started smoking to keep people away from me, it was a defense mechanism I could always exit any situation by needing to go have a smoke. I think there is a lot of internal self work that goes on with quitting. I think it's almost as hard as the quit itself, can't just bury everything in a cloud of smoke any more, must at least look at it.. It's a good process at least for me any way because it's sort of time for me to have this garage sale and dump these thoughts/feelings and things that haven't helped me in a long time to make room for new more healthy ways to live and see my life. It's great we can share some of these changes on this site. I never thought that quitting was going to open up such a can of worms, but hey life is not a predictable place.. Keeps it from getting boring. Ha ha.. Laters..Come over for Mango Bananna bread...Hee Hee Nalu My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 193 Amount Saved: $45 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 22 Mins: 4 Seconds: 28

What a great thread, so light and fun, the kind of thread I loved from years back when quitting here was tough but fun. Sorry for getting sentimental but we need more threads like this.
