Today was day 3 of Effexor XR. I've had one big panic attack each day since I started. Which usually lasts for 1-2 hours Yuck! I hope this settles down soon, I don't know how much longer I can go like this.My Pysc. suggested I up my Xanax to .5 3x's a day (I'm at.25) Until I get outta this mess. I didn't really have panic attacks before I started this med, and if I did it was for like 5 min. I had more like a general anxiety feeling all day. It scares me so much to be on a med. I cried this morning just looking at the **** pill before I got the guts to take it. I just want this to start getting in my body, so the side effects will minumize. Any advice?
