The junkie is you, it's not a different entity don't treat it as one. You're having those thoughts, when they come push them away as fast as possible. Use positive thinking : I'm a non-smoker, I'm healthy, I smell good. This will work in the end because you're stronger than those thoughts. Put up a good fight, you can do it one day at a time :)Marie My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 92 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,389 Amount Saved: $368 Life Gained: Days: 12 Hrs: 5 Mins: 7 Seconds: 20

How's it today, Jan? You, Pink and Windy---are you all still together? This is quite a mountain we are climbing, but I think I can see the top way, way up there..... :)

The junkie has be visiting my head today. Like you, I have given in for one reason or another. Then I had to start all over again, then the old record would replay and I smoke again and then have to start all over again - get the picture. We have to be strong and endure this stuff until we get past it, okay? Look at you - you have 2 days, do you want to do them over again and again and again. I think not. You hang in there. You are worth it :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 5 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 56 Amount Saved: $15 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 18 Mins: 7 Seconds: 7

Jan, I know just how you feel, that junkie will say anything! just keep in mind that as soon as your thoughts drift towards smoking simply force yourself to think of something else. don't dwell on smoking because it really only is torturing yourself. It's hard but worth it. good luck kat My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 27 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 550 Amount Saved: $135 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 19 Mins: 39 Seconds: 23
