Hi Trailbum - Such a good idea! I have 3 doggie angels and they bring me such love and comfort... Talk about unconditional love! They will just be there for ya, so this is the perfect coping skill and distraction, Trailbum ... Thanks for sharing this!! Heading for a 3-dog group hug right now :) Healer My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 214 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,524 Amount Saved: $995.1 Life Gained: Days: 27 Hrs: 21 Mins: 5 Seconds: 57

Trailbum thats agood idea. My puppy was a reward for me and is the best distraction in fact a full time job going out to potty after eating, sleeping, playing etc. They have unconditional love . Will try going for walks when she gets a little bigger. She's still a 4 lb. furball. judy My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 217 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,656 Amount Saved: $434 Life Gained: Days: 31 Hrs: 6 Mins: 59 Seconds: 58

Now this I have no problem doing! Did you know that interacting with your pet literally lowers blood pressure? (although, with 2 chihuahua's, I sometimes question that fact) ;) Good idea, Trailbum...and congrats on your 13 days! My three cats are now my furry children, since my real children abandoned me! They really are like furry people, as a friend of mine calls them. Dinah is the mom and a strict one she is. Sparky and Mr. Fluffy are her sons. Mr. Fluffy is my special-needs kitty, because he does the strangest things. Anyway, they are all very happy that I quit smoking. Since I quit, they decided to live on my bed. I also have a lot of wild animals on my property, including gopher tortoises, white tail deer, foxes, rabbits, and armadillos. I can't hug them though.
