Ladyarwen,
Your mouth may be healing from having been exposed to toxic smoke for years. Anyhow, we are glad to hear it is passing and you're feeling better.
9 days is a fantastic accomplishment, you definitely deserve a great reward!

Stay drinking a lot of water, mouth and throat soreness comes and goes, as does many other things..... keep the fluids going, ice water helped me a lot. Sounds as if you are improving and enjoying the site. Good for you - hang tough!

lady,
Everyone's body will react differently to the quit :) Know that your body is healing and it may take some time. If this persists, then check with your doctor to rule out anything medical.
Keep Strong,
Josie
