I never had anxiety till I quit smoking, easy going person!!! I run every morning 40 mins, lift weights and then walk 30 mins in the evening. I cannot stand still!!
I think a diet change would help. I have been letting myself eat anything I want. So maybe my next goal is get my eating under control and make better choices.

Would never do anything without consulting my Dr. Just wondering if anyone has found anything that helps. I was doing NRT and it makes me sick now. I tried the Wellbutrin and I had horrible side effects.
I know there is not easy answers just wondering if anyone had any idea or what helped them.

Hi trish,
This is part of the quit at least it has been for me, it is getting better but yes there is times I feel like I am going to jump out of my skin. I cut down on my sugar intake and that has helped me alot I do not have those feelings as much and I do 45 min of aerobics every morning before work this has helped also. I am still having problems with the sleep but now i only wake up once during the night compared to 3 to 6 times. So all in all things are getting better but my teeth are ground down to almost nothing I never new this until I stopped smoking that I have alot of anxiety and grind my teeth alot.
we are here for you and you keep up the great job you have come so far.

At this stage in your quit it's very normal, I was anxious also, I don't take medication but I'm on the patch, many people here were on the patch and welbutrin. I know it can be overwhelming, breathe deep, drink a lot of water It's the only advise I can give you other than maybe see a counselor. Hope this helps :)Marie
