Congrats Trish on completing day 1. Thats a HUGE accomplishment in its self.....Yes the "lost feeling" may linger for a while but I promise, one day, you will just wake up and know the hard part is behind you now.....Only good things up ahead.....Just Hang Tough, take one minute at a time.....There is light at the end of this long dark tunnel!!!! Just know and believe that things will very soon just start falling into place and your life will be normal again. Stay here as much as you can....Read and Post, Read and Post.... Stay Strong....You will love being a non smoker.. Hey Trish.....welcome to the quit world ;p Oh crikey, I had forgotten about all the "time" we have on our hands when we first stop smoking!!!! We spent so much time in our lives lighting up that we suddenly have no idea what to do as an alternative!!! Why not use that extra "time" to do something nice for yourself? Doesn't have to be anything spectacular........just go outside and take in a view, or close your eyes and think of a nice memory, or just......relax for a few moments and celebrate your NEW no-smoking life. The "time" thing does take a little while to get over....but it does pass, as do all the other "quirks" and "symptoms". All the best to you.
