Welcome back Phil.
I too am curious about what was going on during your holiday that you found stressful or difficult? Was it the non-busy parts? Boring parts? Not having the usual routine?
Anyway, hope now that you are back, things are getting better.

Phil you might want to keep your tools handy, going from 15mg to 10 mg might make a bit of a difference, you can do it I know you can. :)Marie

Welcome back Phil,
I'm thrilled to hear your quit is still strong, even after your vacation. That seems to be hard for a lot of people. Anyway, you didn't miss anything too crazy

When I go the drug out of my system, my quit became much easier. The NRT helped me in the beginning. After 2 to 3 weeks, having the drug in me seemed to give me craves rather than alleviate them.
Once I ripped the patch off, after a few days, I felt MUCH better.
Everyone is different. Do what works for you. You are doing great so far. Just keep it up.
If you are having mental cravings, remember you need to add new things to your life. Maybe by the pool, you could have taken a book with you. Learning to relax without a smoke is a skill you will need to acquire. I have learned to relax smoke-free and it is truly wonderful. You will too. Just hang in there.
Fondly,
Free

Hi Phil & Welcome back.
Have you figured out what is causing your difficulties? Is nicotine still in your system (NRT's)?
Fondly,
Free
