Flowerpot, have you worked through the exercises/quit tools on the left? They're very helpful, and give you the kind of ammunition you need to hang in there when the going gets tough.
You also might want to ask yourself if by taking those three puffs somewhere in the back of your head you were just looking for an excuse to throw up your hands and say "See, I can't do this!"
Though going through the quitting process has physical manifestations, it's also very much a mind game.
Nothing of value is easy to obtain.
Ask yourself what you want in life, and then don't let anything, including that little self-destructive voice in your head that would love to keep you from succeeding, deter you from your goal.
