Looks like we are on the road together :) My husband quit with me 3 1/2 years ago and has not picked up since. He has been very supportive of me and my many attempts to quit. Sometimes it gets to me that it was so easy for him, but then I am grateful for him and that he has not had the need to pick up since. With that quit and attempt we stopped smoking in the house and in the car. That in itself cut my smoking by more than half. My house and car smelled better. Although I still smelled, I kept Bath and Body in business :p So now it is time that we pick ourselves up and get on the road on non smoking, okay? I had someone ask me the other night "So, why do you think you can quit this time?" That has made me really think hard about it. I have done a lot of soul searching and certianly hope this is the last time. I am sick and tired of coming here and say I messed up again. I want to a postive example that one can quit and stay quit. How about you? WE CAN DO THIS!!! Glad you made it though the week-end. We will continue to get this thing right, together!!! I am going to write a list of things to do tomorrow that will help keep me out of trouble. Keeping busy has helped in the past. Just thought I would share that with you. Onward and upward :p

Get on that horse and ride. No use rolling in the mud you'll just get your cloths dirty. So get up brush yourself off and get quit. From the posts I see the sooner you do it the better. I personally don't care about drama or whatever. What I care about is if you can get quit. Use this group however you want. Find what works and work it. Go for it. that's part of your journey to being smoke free. It will come. I can not even count how many times I quit, Had just one, did not smoke again for 2 weeks or so, had just one, did not smoke for a month, had just 4. It turned into such a vicious circle. I was keeping myself in constant withdrawal. But, the time finally came when I actually realized if I was ever going to be a comfortable non smoker, I could not have even one puff. I hibernated (pretty much),for the first two months. I had to stay away from ALL smokers. I had to LEAVE situations. I had to stay home from parties. You need to do what you need to do to protect your quit, Icandoit. This is serious business and a huge challenge. I forgot, do you have a smoking partner? Figure out why you smoked, remember it as a lesson in your journey and move on, smoke free. Put a halt to the slipping. It will only make it harder for you. AND, YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
