Ok, who here can say ...

Mark, did you say you still drive a tractor-trailer? I used to be a truck driver, but my counselor suggested I quit (even though I didn't start having PA's until AFTER I quit driving). If you don't mind I'd like to ask you few questions about your driving. DO you have the attacks while driving? If so, what do you do about them? I still have my CDL and would love to drive again, but my counselor suggested against it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There is no doubt for me on the lack of sleep causing these panic attacks to be more intense in magnitude as well as how long they last. This last 24hrs has been the worst of the year but I went to the emergency room a bit ago and was able to get some Xanax(sp?) as well as bumping my serezon back to 200mg. I'm off work now as a result ( probable miss a week ) but I don't care... I just gotta get back to normal first. Thanks for the reply.

I think lack of sleep makes it way worse. I notice I have a lot of weird thoughts when I don€™t get enough sleep and I realized that it€™s not me it€™s the lack of sleep.

... they don't have setbacks ? I for one sure can't. I'll tell ya I'm really getting sick of this. Guess it's time to get back and start again with some help. My meds work most of the time but, not year round and doesn't cure this panic disorder. Just been seeing a regular doc for the dosages I'm on but looks like I need to get more help. Very nervous this morning and fear an attack. Had two now in the last 24hrs. Mainly due to getting the wrong med from the local pharmacist. I work nights and drive a 18 wheeler all night. Hopefully I'll get some rest before I go or I'll have to miss work. Anyway...
