The junkie is you, it's not a different entity don't treat it as one. You're having those thoughts, when they come push them away as fast as possible. Use positive thinking : I'm a non-smoker, I'm healthy, I smell good. This will work in the end because you're stronger than those thoughts. Put up a good fight, you can do it one day at a time :)Marie

How's it today, Jan? You, Pink and Windy---are you all still together? This is quite a mountain we are climbing, but I think I can see the top way, way up there..... :)
Jan---you and Pink have two days! WOW---congratulations! You can do it. Hold on tight, sometimes the seas are rough, but I see calm waters in the distance!
Windy,
Try to distract yourself and reward yourself for accomplishing another smoke free day.
Keep persevering and congratulations on 2 days smoke free!
Danielle

The junkie has be visiting my head today. Like you, I have given in for one reason or another. Then I had to start all over again, then the old record would replay and I smoke again and then have to start all over again - get the picture. We have to be strong and endure this stuff until we get past it, okay? Look at you - you have 2 days, do you want to do them over again and again and again. I think not. You hang in there. You are worth it :)

Jan,
I know just how you feel, that junkie will say anything! just keep in mind that as soon as your thoughts drift towards smoking simply force yourself to think of something else. don't dwell on smoking because it really only is torturing yourself. It's hard but worth it.
good luck
kat
