Hi, Clairey. Your reaction to the panic feeling was flight. Our panic program can teach you to handle this a little better, such as by applying relaxation techniques before you go out and when you feel a little anxious. It can also teach you through baby steps to challenge your anxious thoughts. The program is free, so I hope you'll not hesitate to take advantage of it.
All the best.
thankyou so much, i had that on my driving test actually!! dont know if it worked or not but i was ok in the test. I take an amino acid called L-theanine, supposed to calm you down! works a bit i think. Im not really bad but i just worry. Started because i didnt like feeling ill in public incase i was sick but now my stomach symtoms arent as bad as they were months ago i still worry!
I will try that rescue remedie again! made me feel a bit drunk for few seconds before!! nice hey
You should try Bachs Flower Remedies...Rescue Remedy. I don't know how it works but its amazing. It really calms you down when you feel a panic coming on. Hope it helps
i have had a stomach condition that has allways made me worry slightly, but i was out walking on my own the other day, i usually worry a bit when im not at home but yesterday i got really panicky!! started feeling really unsafe where i was and had to rush fast!! it went before i got home but all that night i felt rough and my stomach condition was playing up a bit.
I really dont want to start medication as the side effects and im already ill some of the time because of my stomach!
but if i got worse and had to what does anyone recommend for panic? something that does not make you feel really bad, especially something that does not cause symtoms of the stomach (vomiting, nausea, pains ect)
please help xx
