1.One Area Health Authority here is slipping all smokers by 3 months on their waiting lists to allow for time for counselling re smoking. 2.One school is allowing 14 year olds to have access to a smoking room as long as they have their parents permission. If staff smoke on the premises it is a dismissable offence Crazy world or what? I agree! I think a "news" forum is a GREAT idea!!! Personally, I think that the "general" forum is... well... too general. Smoking here in qc is banned in school yards., if people want to smoke they have to smoke 9m, 29ft away from the yard. I've heard that our local highschool tolerates the smoking in the yard,they're concerned about the child's safety. No win situation. There is a high school down the street from us that does not allow their students to hang out down by the river because someone might fall in. This school does however let the students smoke in the back entrance way when it is too cold outside!!!!!! WHere is the logic?
