This is for my husband coming home and telling me about these ugly fat people that came into the store after i've eaten.. a box of mac and chease, a batch of onion rings, and a pint of Ben and jerry... in the last 2 hours. ... and the crying that went with it.

Well, i am unsure if it is just because I am experiencing a really high level of stress lately and therefor more aware of other people's, or if there really does seem to be a very large number of us going through stressful situations, having trouble coping, and/or questioning our quits. I almost didn't make it through today. I didn't really say here just how much my quit was threatened, but just coming and laughing with you guys and crying with you guys, and throwing fits with you guys was enough to get me through. ... well, that and a nice batch of home made onion rings. My daughters and I used to go to the river and throw rock into it, and yell our stresses as we did. So, let's throw our stresses away now! It can be an emotion, a person, an event, a date, anything at all. It doesn't matter how trivial or how "too heavy" you think it is. It can also be vague so that only you know it's true meaning. Just let it go, and come back often - you hear!? - This is for... Money, or lack thereof, causing a postponement of my one month anniversary celebration plans!! Mistymoon, You have this presence about you that is so innocent and sweet - dont ever change that. Stress: difficulty that causes worry or emotional tension... I have learnt that when a "stressful" situation is thrown my way, i step back for a moment, take the time to evaluate the event, what are its causes, why is it making me feel this way, is this that i am really "stressing" about or is it something else. Is there anyway i can change this so called "stress" is ME being "stressed" stressing me even more... o god :8o: its a never ending spiral.... im melting im melting lol Life has its ups and downs when i feel i cant do it on my own i share it... remember the old "a problem shared is a problem halved" analagy? Your strength through this quit has been an amazing journey, the inspiration you have given me.... Mistymoon you smoked 3 PACKS A DAY and look at you now. I looked at you and thought wow, here is a lady with strength and determination. I truly mean it when i say that it is a pleasure to make your aquaintence. MissMistyMoonMaam.... I know it is disheartening that you are unable to reward yourself the way you so dearly wished on your 1st month anniversary but there are so many other ways you can celebrate. Here is a suggestion from me :) how about... you ask your mom to take the kids for the night, ask your hubby or you can do it , prepare a lovely meal of all your favorite foods, sit out and look up at the stars and just BE there in the moment with each other, rent a movie do what ever it is your heart desires. Another one is to share it with the whole family by the river, throwing those stones, pack a picnic and make a day of it (just make sure its not going to be over 100 the day you choose lol) Whatever you decide dont not reward yourself. You have come so far and deserve it and im glad you didnt smoke :) :) i love onion rings :) Am not sure if i have finished off with anything even worth posting here lmao hmmm i kinda got lost in my own little world huh... o well at least im not smoking ok am throwing a problem into the river..... ... . .. ...... plop! Misty, Thank you for your honesty! It is a great idea to post your vents and frustrations or even write them in a journal. Don't let it build up, release it :) We are always here to help you through your journey :) Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
