Well, then that explains it!! HA! I have to figure out how to reach thru his thick skull so he will listen. *rolls eyes* I hope he gets better too. Once I get this addiction licked, I told him he should quit chewing =) He mumbles and grabs his tin. G = Arent they the cutest commercials?? Danielle: I think I would rather scratch my scalp than pick up another smoke. Ah, hell week and rewards: I am going to hold off for my rewards at this time as it was my own fault for falling off the boat the first 3 times. So I know I can make it to 6 weeks so I am going to have my reward set at 30 days. *BUT* because I have been dieting since my 3rd quit and I have lost 30 pounds, I will do something to reward myself that way. So this way, it evens itself out. Erm, did that make sense? Like instead of having 2 cookies w/ lunch, I have chosen to have one of those Special K strawberry treats instead =) Not only will it satisfy my sweet tooth, but it has that crunch needed to keep my lips moving =) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/21/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 7 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 75 Amount Saved: $14 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 15 Mins: 50 Seconds: 18

Hi Patty!! WTG on your quit!! 8 days is AWESOME =)~~ Yes, I am looking at it this way. That friend was the biggest liar and was actually never there for us to begin with. Instead of helping us, they lead us become sicker when we had colds, we stunk terribly, our fingers are stained, we had to sneak around to see that friend, and it was slowly killing us. Like you, this feels *so* right. I feel different somehow--like blossoming or blooming. Even my outlook looks bright. I 'see' myself as a non smoker and I have actually 'bragged' I have driven them into the ground. I know there are more storms on the horizon and I am 'hunkered' down for the worst of it. See? Told ya I am babbling!! HA!! *whispers* Potato and Leek soup is gently simmering on the stove. It smells so yummy!! I cant wait to taste it!! Come and join me for a spot of tea =) The new one I bought has a hint of licorice in it!! PS G...here is something that may help you lighten the mood =) "Good humor is a tonic for mind and body. It is the best antidote for anxiety and depression. It is a business asset. It attracts and keeps friends. It lightens human burdens. It is the direct route to serenity and contentment."
