Hi Patty!! WTG on your quit!! 8 days is AWESOME =)~~
Yes, I am looking at it this way. That friend was the biggest liar and was actually never there for us to begin with. Instead of helping us, they lead us become sicker when we had colds, we stunk terribly, our fingers are stained, we had to sneak around to see that friend, and it was slowly killing us.
Like you, this feels *so* right. I feel different somehow--like blossoming or blooming. Even my outlook looks bright. I 'see' myself as a non smoker and I have actually 'bragged' I have driven them into the ground.
I know there are more storms on the horizon and I am 'hunkered' down for the worst of it.
See? Told ya I am babbling!! HA!!
*whispers* Potato and Leek soup is gently simmering on the stove. It smells so yummy!! I cant wait to taste it!! Come and join me for a spot of tea =) The new one I bought has a hint of licorice in it!!
