Hi Phil, You are doing so good with the patches so you might as well hang on to them for a while. If you feel bad there will be many people to help you out. You're nice and funny and that's why you are going to win this battle. I'm here for you too. Love Fini xxx P.S. look at my quitmeter, tomorrow is a double milestone....tome for a nice reward (I love rewards)...lol My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 199 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,992 Amount Saved: 587.05 Life Gained: Days: 27 Hrs: 11 Mins: 11 Seconds: 5

Patches just take the edge off, but help you get rid of the habit part of smoking, while feeling a little better you concentrate on that part of the quit. I agree with you Phil, my Doc has no understanding of the quit process, so I quit talking to him LOL. I 've been through what you're feeling right now, the VOID, you don't want to smoke ...but... something is missing. My suggestion is keep busy busy busy, I cleaned the whole house from top to bottom, had a garage sale, got rid of a lot of stuff, that will be useful to someone else , game the rest to charity. That made me feel good. So find an activity that will fill the void. Wishing you the best and sending you positive vibes over the sea .....here they come HUGS and KISSES Marie My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 126 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,899 Amount Saved: $504 Life Gained: Days: 16 Hrs: 16 Mins: 40 Seconds: 15

Hi Phil, I did not use the patch, but from every thing I have read here you should follow the program as directed if you do decide to remove the patch early make sure you have one on hand just in case. I have been following your quit and you are doing great, keep it up.
