odd cravings today

Thanks Shevie, I know it will pass. Just got to keep busy. At work I am doing all the filing no one wants to do just to keep distracted! Maybe quitting smoking will help with my raise since I will prolly end up doing everything no one wants to do just so I don't smoke lol. Thanks again for responding, I can't wait to be where you are! ~Valic

For some reason I am craving something fierce today! I even went down to the smoking area of my work building to see if there was anyone smoking! Thank God there wasn't! I think I will just hide in my cube all day and drown myself in work. I have my ice water and mints. Plus some twizzlers, I hope it helps. I will check in later. I don't dare take a walk today for fear that I will see smokers and ask for one. Not sure why so bad today, I haven't really had cravings since the first week. Calm, and breathe. This will pass. ~Valic My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 29 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 147 Amount Saved: $153.7 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 1 Mins: 11 Seconds: 53

Hi, Valic. Most of us go through a rough patch around 30 days. I don't have a clue why, but history on this site and elsewhere bears that out. You're right, it will pass. Might take a day or two, but just hold on and it will get better. Just keep doing what you're doing, not smoking. ;) Keep up the good quit, Valic. Valic, It is great to see that you are using your coping mechanisms to help you through. Continue to do this in case surprise craves pop up. Always be ready and know that it could lurk around any corner. You can do this and know that it is normal. You body is getting used to the change :) Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
