Ness, Always counter those so-called "reasons" to smoke with the truth! There is nothing good about smoking and everything good about quitting. Teach your mind to see that by reading about nicotine addiction (use the search feature here and check out whyquit dot com) and stay focused on the truth. That's how I did it. Gonnadoit, What you are experiencing is temptation. Think of cigarettes as being the child and you are the adult. You mind and body are working together to win back your "old habit". You can beat the odds and go forth with your decision to quit smoking. Please continue to jump back on our online support group and voice your concerns. At this time, please refer to our online quit program. Milestone #3 talks about withdrawal symptoms. You will learn about withdrawal symptoms and how other smokers have coped. You will assess your level of nicotine dependence and how to deal with these symptoms. We hope we have directed you in the right direction today. Stay strong, Melanie ________________________ The SSC Support Team
