Hi, Stormy.
Sounds like you're right on track for day 2. Maybe you shouldn't try to fight or supress the emotions. Go find a pillow and beat the crap out of it. One person once suggested buying old chinaware from a thrift store, then smashing it in a large box. Cheap, effective, and easy to clean up after. :)
You are not doomed. This is temporary and will not harm you. The worst thing you can do is sit and dwell on it. What you feel are signs of healing. I know they don't feel that way, but they are.
Hang in there, Stormy. Post, post, post. It's a proven fact you can't light a cigarette while typing at full speed! ;)
