Hi, lilbeer. Welcome to the SSC.
I was going to suggest you seek out Jacko's posts, but Rusty beat me to it. :)
I understand your concern about work. The degree of difficulty it causes, though, is determined mostly by your state of mind. If you go in expecting to be strongly tempted by every cig you see and it will be very difficult, then it probably will be. But if you go in expecting to be strongly tempted by every cig you see and expect you can ignore the temptation, then you will be much further ahead.
99% of any quit is a mind game, the intelligent you against the primitive, addicted you. Focus on the positives of quitting: the health gains, the financial gains, the status gains. etc. Do not allow yourself to think that you are depriving yourself of smoking, but that you are avoiding a future health calamity. Postive thoughts are your strongest weapon.
I know you can, I know you can, I know you can...
Stay close, stay strong, Lilbeer.
